Sicily

My trip to Sicily was amazing, I had such a great time. I miss being there.
Here are some of my tourist moments:

Since the cities I was in were all near the volcano most everything is made out of volcanic ash, this is still pretty fresh.

there was a giant jellyfish on the shore

 Etna Volcano

we went to this halloween party

 best pizza of my life!

you can't get much sexier than this

 huge cactus

It was a really frikin beautiful place and I loved the Italian people even though almost no one spoke English. I hope I can go back again some day.

Virus+Italy

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, my computer had a virus and it didn't let me update my blog. So I decided that instead of stressing about it I'd just wait till I could get rid of it and then I would update.

Anyway right now I am in Italy, a place I never thought I'd get to anytime soon so I am super happy. I am on the island of Sicily in a city called Catania. I'll make a post about my trip when I get home, but for now I'll leave you with this.

9,09,14

I'm tired and stressed and would just like to listen to some music to calm me down but I have a roommate and no earphones. Anyway I'm gonna sleep now but I thought I'd leave you with this song which is really nice. I hope you like it as much as I do.

August Happenings

It's almost the end of August, my summer is over and now all the serious things start. Over August I did a lot of interesting things, I was at a camp where I helped out and was one of the group leaders. The camp was for handicapped people (recently I've gotten involved in helping them a little, but would like to get more into it) and we were in different groups, my group had awesome pink t-shirts. Here's some pictures.

We played blind basketball because I had a blind person on my team, first I thought I'd hate it, and yes it was pretty scary, but I got a goal for my team while blind. And all in all it was such an awesome experience.
We had to paint group flags
This is how our flag looked when it was done

Well for now I'm just gonna post 3 pictures. Man I had a really interesting night tonight and gonna go into processing mode soon.
So from tomorrow I'm gonna have a roommate, might as well say bye bye to having my own room and loving it. but hey I'll adapt.
Also I have problems with the muscles in my knees and had to go to physical therapy over the break and they're not exactly better so I'm gonna have to find some way to fix them. So yeah pray for that.
Night.

Summer '14

This summer has been crazy so far, in all my life I doubt I've had a summer with this many things happening and this much stress. I'm not complaining, to be honest I love it! I'm glad so many things are going on and even though not everything is perfect, it's been pretty great. So far the best part was that I got to go to a festival. I haven't ever been to one before, and it turned out being greater than I expected it to be. Also I got to participate in a color party, which was awesome!

I found out about a game called water football, yes I wasn't very good at it, but if I'd ever take up a sport, hands down it would be water football. It's super fun.
Also I got a baby sitting job a few days a week over the summer, and the family brings me with them to a bunch of places so I'm getting to be a rich child part of the summer. Hehe.
The best part of all this is that I'm only half way through the summer, so I still got a few awesome weeks ahead of me.
Hoping for the best!

Night of Museums

On June 21st there was this deal in Budapest where you could go to a whole bunch of museums from 6 p.m. till 2 a.m. for a really cheap price. One of my co-workers invited me and I invited a bunch of my family and we headed off to see the museums.
We weren't allowed to do pictures in most of the museums, so the pictures are mostly of us around Budapest.

All in all it was great.

Rimaszombat - Rimavská Sobota

Lately I've been really busy which is why I haven't updated my blog earlier. But on June 9 I went to Slovakia with the group I dance with and the organization we dance for. In all we were 5 cars. We had to meet up by 5 a.m. which meant I had to get up at 3, so I was over tired the whole day, but it was still super great. During the day we went to this building where the people with different handicaps showed school children (5th to 9th grade) what it's like to live with a certain handicap. I helped in the blind department to entertain the kids who weren't being shown around. Then at 5 p.m. we did our show. I'll just post a bunch of pictures:

We went around the town a bit during the day

The people made us a cake, it was pretty yummy, I ate up most of the marzipan

Anyway the match between Spain and Chile starts in 10 minutes and hoping Spain gets its act together and kicks ass. See ya.

End Of The Year

Yesterday was the Year End Celebration in the Kindergarten.
My group did a skit and it was really cute. It was great to see all the kids excited faces, especially the ones who are going to school next year.
It's so weird that I worked here for a full school year!
A few more months and I get a new group of students, I'm gonna miss the ones I have now. At least they'll still be around.
These are the presents I got from the parents. My whole room smells like flowers.

I have a week break now.
Here's to holidays and graduating!
Bye
